What will confidence cost you? 

Life is hectic and runs ahead at full speed.  You may not know your account balance, but you have purchases to make.  Flushing Bank’s standard overdraft coverage will ensure those purchases are paid for. We can eliminate the embarrassment of having your debit or ATM card transactions declined.

New rules now offer you the ability to make decisions about the handling of overdrafts for transactions made with your debit or ATM cards. Previously these transactions would have been paid by Flushing and your account would have incurred a fee for this service.  You now have the choice to ask for or decline this service.

An overdraft occurs when you make a purchase using your debit card or when you make an ATM withdrawal but don’t have enough money in your account.  For a fee, we will cover these transactions when your account becomes overdrawn. Be confident your debit and ATM cards will not be declined!

If you do not choose to use our standard overdraft services, your everyday debit card transactions and ATM withdrawals will be declined when you don’t have enough money in your account, but you will not be charged an overdraft fee. If you choose to use this service, a fee of $35.00 will be charged to your account each time we pay an overdraft when you make a purchase using your debit card or when you make an ATM withdrawal but don’t have enough money in your account to cover it. However, no more than three overdraft fees may be charged against your account per day.

You can always change your mind.

The decision is yours. You can sign up for or cancel this service at any time. And this service will cost you nothing if you don’t use it.
This service does not cover checks or automatic bill payments that you may have set up for paying bills such as your mortgage, rent, or utilities.
